We’ve got one of the biggest guests in Game of Codes history on the podcast today, with Swans premiership hero Ted Richards joining us for a very special Episode 38.

The 261-gamer, who hosts his own podcast in The Richards Report, joined us on the phone to give us a unique insight into what preparation goes into a good AFL finals campaign. Don’t worry, we got his tip for the flag too!

With The Australian Dream premiering in cinemas today, we also spoke to Richards about his perspective on the Adam Goodes boing saga of 2013-15 and what it was like to be a teammate of his during that time.

But first, we’ve got an Ashes Test to preview! Roar cricket Glenn Mitchell joins us on the line to look over tonight’s pivotal third Test at Headingley and make a call on whether the Aussies can go 2-0 up without Steve Smith.

What changes should Australia be considering ahead of the crucial third Test at Headingley?

Then, we talk Wallabies World Cup selection with Roar rugby expert Brett McKay. Which bolters should Cheika be considering?

It’s over to the AFL next, where Roar editor Stirling Coates joins us in studio to discuss the peculiar nature of Ross Lyon’s departure, before we get Teddy on for the rest of the episode.

Catch the episode in the player above and head to our Game of Codes hub to listen to Thursday’s edition. Be sure to subscribe and review on iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts or wherever else you’re listening.
