The Australian Boomers might have already advanced to the second round of the Basketball World Cup, but that doesn’t make their final first-round clash against a strong Lithuania side any less important. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online, or watching it on TV.

The match, as with all games in Group H, is set to be played at the Dongguan Basketball Centre in China, with tip-off set down for 9:30pm (AEST) and the game to be played on Thursday, September 5.

The game might be a dead rubber in terms of which teams actually go through to the second round of the World Cup, given Australia and Lithuania can’t be overtaken as the top two sides, however, given results against the other qualified teams carry over to the next group stage.

It means that, while Australia and Lithuania will play the teams qualified from Group G – likely the Dominican and France in their games, one team will enter with a one and zero record, and the other a zero and one record, meaning they would probably have to win both of their second-round games to keep advancing through the tournament into the final eight.
