In what will be an enormous day for Sydney club rugby, Randwick will face Argentina at Coogee Oval as the latter team get ready for the Rugby World Cup. Kick-off is set for 2:30pm on Saturday, September 7 in what will be a wall to wall afternoon of rugby.

The match is set to be played at the picturesque Coogee Oval, which will host its second ever international team.

Randwick and Coogee Oval last hosted an international team when the All Blacks played in 1988.

On that occasion, a sell out crowd packed into Coogee to watch the New Zealanders pick up a comfortable victory, and the atmosphere is expected to be no different this time around.

Randwick finished during the recent Shute Shield season and will have Wallabies running around for them, while Argentina come in off four straight losses, including all three Rugby Championship matches.

Argentina will then fly out to Japan next week following the game.
