The Australian Boomers will move into more tough games at the Basketball World Cup, with the second cut-throat round set to get underway on Saturday as they take on the Dominican Republic. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online, or watching it on TV.

Tip-off is scheduled for 6pm AEST on Saturday, September 7 at the Gymnasium of Youth Olympic Games Sports Park in Nanjing, China.

Australia moved through to the second round on the back of victories over Senegal and Canada in the first round, but may need to beat both France and the Dominican Republic in their next two games to stay alive and move into the final eight when one-off knockout basketball commences for the first time at the tournament.

How to watch the match on TV

The exclusive television rights to the Basketball World Cup in Australia belong to Fox Sports, which means tuning into their coverage will be the only way to watch the match live.

Their coverage will begin ten minutes before the tip-off time, and instead of relying on the world feed, they will use their own commentary team.

The Fox Sports coverage will be available on Channel 507, also known as Fox Sports More, and you will need to have a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.
