The Brisbane Lions and GWS Giants will put their AFL season’s on the line when they clash in the second smei-final on Saturday, September 14. The first bounce is scheduled for 7:25pm, with the match to be held at The Gabba in Brisbane.

It should mean that halftime is around 8:30pm (AEST), and fulltime at around 10pm (AEST) or shortly afterwards, with one team’s season to come crashing to an end when the final siren sounds in Brisbane.

The Lions have home ground advantage for the game, but after finishing in the top four and failing to put away the Richmond Tigers last week, will be frustrated they aren’t already in the preliminary finals with a week off on their plate.

Making matters tougher for the men from Brisbane, they will have to take on a GWS Giants outfit who are coming off a big win over the Western Bulldogs in last week’s elimination final, which was played in Sydney.
