It’s Argentina and Spain doing battle for the Basketball World Cup on Sunday night when the two teams meet in the Gold Medal Match.

Want to watch the match via live stream? Or on TV? Don’t worry – you’re in exactly the right place for that. Below, we have all the information you need to watch the game.

How to watch the match on TV

Under a new TV deal with Basketball Australia and the NBL, the only way to watch this Boomers pre-World Cup match will be through SBS.

They will broadcast the game on their secondary channel, SBS Viceland. This can be found on Channel 32.

The coverage will begin at 7:30pm (AEST), with tip-off likely to be delayed by around 20 minutes from the scheduled time to allow a pre-game show, as it was against Canada in Perth last weekend.

How to live stream the match online

If you’d prefer to follow the game online, you’ll be able to through SBS on Demand. Their coverage will be exactly the same as what’s used on TV, and the service is free to use – all you’ll need to do is sign up with a valid email address.

Kayo Sports customers will also be able to stream the match via that platform. If you’re not already a Kayo customer, the service offers extensive sports live streaming options from $25 per month.

For both of these nations, this match represents a chance to win the tournament for the second time, although Argentina will be breaking a far longer drought if they do so.

The Argentinians have not won the tournament since the very first edition held in 1950, which was hosted on their home soil, defeating the USA in the final.

Spain, on the other hand, have won as recently as 2006, when they thrashed Greece in the final match. That tournament was hosted in Japan.
