The fixture details for this year’s NRL preliminary finals have been confirmed.

The Canberra Raiders and South Sydney Rabbitohs will start the weekend off with a Friday-night clash in the nation’s capital, before the Sydney Roosters host minor premiers the Melbourne Storm in what promises to be a thriller on Saturday night.

Canberra’s match will be played at GIO Stadium, while the Storm have the unenviable task of facing Sydney at the SCG, where the Roosters have been in formidable form in 2019.

Both matches are slated for a 7:50pm (AEST) kick-off.

The Melbourne-Sydney match will be preceded by a NRLW curtain-raiser between the Brisbane Broncos and New Zealand Warriors, which will kick off at 5:05pm (AEST).
