The SANFL grand final for 2019 has arrived, with the Port Adelaide Magpies to take on the Glenelg Tigers at the Adelaide Oval. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online, or watching it on TV.
The first bounce in the grand final is set for 3pm (local time) – that’s 3:30pm (AEST) – at the South Australian home of football, the Adelaide Oval, on Sunday, September 22.
This is the grand final that always looked likely at the end of the regular season, with the two sides finishing in the top two spots on the ladder.
Port Adelaide advanced to the decider after beating Glenelg a fortnight ago, while the Tigers had to hit back and beat Adelaide to make the grand final and set up a rematch last week.
If you’re in South Australia, then it’ll be an easy day on the TV, with Channel 7 set to provide live coverage of the SANFL grand final.
The broadcaster, who have covered one game per week throughout the regular season, will being their coverage half an hour before the first bounce, at 2:30pm local time.
Channel 7 is available on Channel 70 in high definition, 71 in standard definition, or 107 if you’re tuning in through a Foxtel service.
As Fox Footy aren’t broadcasting the game, there will be no way to tune in and watch the match on TV if you’re outside of the host state.
Likewise, the game will be easy to live stream if you’re in South Australia, with Channel 7’s coverage to be available.
This is known as 7Plus and is free to use, although you will have to sign up with a valid email address.
If you want to tune into the SANFL grand final from outside of South Australia, including anywhere around the world, you’ll have to use the SANFL Digital Pass.
This will set you back a one-time payment of $7.99 to live stream the final between Port Adelaide and Glenelg.
