It was another massive week in sport, with our AFL grand finalists being decided for 2019, the NRL preliminary final picture being made clear and the Wallabies clearing their first Rugby World Cup hurdle.

Episode 46 of The Roar’s Game of Codes podcast is here to delve into it all.

We kick off in the AFL, with Roar expert and editor Josh Elliott. With both Damien Hardwick and Leon Cameron facing plenty of selection headaches, we try to make a call on who’ll line up for the decider on Saturday.

Then, we turn our attention to the losing preliminary finalists – did Geelong or Collingwood have the better season? Who’s more likely to return to the top four next season?

It’s over to the NRL next with Roar rugby league expert Tim Gore. Is the latest refereeing drama just another example of the media being too harsh on the whistleblowers? Can Manly or Parramatta back up their stunning runs to the semi-finals?

We finish up with the Rugby World Cup, where Roar rugby expert Brett McKay talks us through the key takeaways from Australia’s win over Fiji.

Catch the episode in the player above and head to our Game of Codes hub to listen to Tuesday’s edition. Be sure to subscribe and review on iHeartRadio, Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts or wherever else you’re listening.
