The first spot in the NRL grand final goes on the line in the nation’s capital as the Canberra Raiders, fresh from a week off, face off with the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Kick-off will be at 7:50pm (AEST) on Friday, September 27.
To be held at GIO Stadium, this will be possibly the biggest-ever home game played by the Raiders, with a sell-out crowd set to be on hand.
Halftime in the game is set to be at around 8:40pm (AEST), with it to be all over at around 9:45pm (AEST).
The winner of the match will advance to the NRL grand final, which will be played next Sunday against either the Sydney Roosters or Melbourne Storm, who play the second preliminary final on Saturday evening.
The Raiders come into this game on the back of a week off, while the Rabbitohs had to get past the Manly Sea Eagles in a thrilling semi-final last weekend.
