What the Wallabies need to do to knock off Wales

Australia’s second – and easily most important – group stage clash of the Rugby World Cup takes place this Sunday when they take on Wales.

Tokyo Stadium plays hosts to the two sides who – following Fiji’s shock loss to Uruguay yesterday – are virtually guaranteed to progress to the quarter-finals out of Pool D.

Seeding may be especially important coming out of Pool D, however, with the winner likely taking on France or Argentina and the runner-up instead getting matched with England.

There’s no doubt the Wallabies have some creases that need ironing out after their unconvincing-at-times win over Fiji. Will they get found out against the Welsh? Warren Gatland’s side has been incredible defensively all year = Michael Cheika find a way through?

What do they need to do to come away from the all-important clash with the win?

We were joined on the Game of Codes podcast by Roar rugby expert Geoff Parkes to preview the big match and look at what the Wallabies need to anticipate and deal with to come away with the win.
