Fueled by hubris from my wildly successful Brownlow Medal fashion ratings last week, I’m back for a second dose at the NRL’s night of nights, the Dally M.

I feel like I provided a pretty good run down last week re the quality of my fashion sense (or lack thereof… definitely lack thereof, enough so that everyone who read it would’ve finished by saying please, dear god, don’t go into more detail.

I’m going into more detail. Last week I completed a lifetime goal: successfully buying socks in every colour of the rainbow. They’re lined up neatly in my cupboard right now.

So, who am I to judge gowns and suits you say? Just a bloke at home in his pajama pants on a Wednesday night. I could not possibly be less qualified, and that’s the way I like it.

The point is: these fashion ratings aren’t intended to be taken even remotely seriously. It’s all in good fun. Everyone is beautiful.

With that in mind, let’s get started.

Adam Reynolds has an extreme “got dressed five minutes before we had to leave” vibe going on here, and I respect it. 8/10.

Is Karianne wearing a gown, or simply being eaten alive by the red carpet? There’s no way to tell. 7/10.

Everyone dreams of an outfit that looks really… needly. I feel like Vessa Graham could break these off and throw them at her enemies with ninja-like precision, if needed. And why shouldn’t she? 9/10.

I’m seeing double here. Four Trbojevic brothers! 6/10.

The all-black-velvet look here by Josh Papalii is simply elite. The only way to take it to the next level would be if his dad had followed suit. 9/10.

Carly Widdop

Carly Widdop had to rush here after her day job, putting leaders up on the board at Wheel Of Fortune. Which, to be fair, is the best game show, no exceptions. 8/10.

Cameron Munster

I’m not quite sure what’s going on with Cam Munster’s jacket here, but hate it or love it, I just can’t look away. 9/10.
