The group stage at this year’s Rugby World Cup has been a mixed bag for the Wallabies thus far. After an unconvincing first-up win over Fiji, Michael Cheika’s men were left to lick their wounds soon after following a tough loss to Wales.
It may not be the most enticing fixture on the list, but there’s a case to be made for Saturday afternoon’s clash with Uruguay being a crucial game for the Wallabies.
A win here is well below the bare minimum in terms of expectations for this one. But what is the real pass mark here?
Is it not unfair to ask for a bonus point in the bag before half time?
We got Roar rugby expert Brett McKay on the Game of Codes podcast to preview the clash and make a call on just how much the Wallabies need to win by for the game to be considered a success.
We also mull over the inclusion of debutant Jordan Petaia and ask whether he should keep his spot for the quarter-finals.
