There are no shortage of talking points after one of the most entertaining – and controversial – NRL grand finals in years.
Between the controversy involving a Roosters trainer being on the field at the wrong time and the #SixAgain refereeing blunder, Cooper Cronk’s controversial sin bin and Jack Wighton winning the Clive Churchill medal, a lot of the actual play has been overshadowed.
So, how did the Roosters become the first NRL side to go back-to-back since the Brisbane Broncos did it in 1993? Where did it go wrong for Canberra and how do they rectify it next year?
We were joined on the Game of Codes podcast by Roar rugby league expert Tim Gore to dissect the 2019 decider, analyse where it went right for the Roosters and wrong for the Raiders – outside of the controversial stuff.
