How to watch the A-League season online or on TV: A-League 2019-20 live stream, TV guide

The new A-League season is here with 11 teams set to vye for the ultimate prize in Australian football, starting on October 11 and running all the way until May of 2020. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming every match of the season online, or watching them on TV.

The season will get underway on Friday, October 11, with the first game to be played between Adelaide United and defending premiers Sydney FC at Coopers Stadium in Adelaide, with kick-off scheduled for 7:30pm (AEDT).

The new season sees the addition of Western United as the competition’s 11th team, with byes also introduced across an expanded 29-round season.

Each team will play 26 games, with five games to be played on most weekends, and four on others.

How to watch the 2019-20 A-League season on TV in Australia

There will only be one way to watch every game of the new A-League season on TV in Australia, with Fox Sports the competition’s official broadcast partner.

They will cover every single game, with the majority expected to be shown on Fox Sports 505. To watch them, you will need to have a valid Foxtel TV subscription, complete with the sports package.

You’ll also be able to watch one match per week on free to air broadcaster the ABC. This will be the 5pm (AEDT) Saturday match, and will be shown live around the country.

How to live stream the 2019-20 A-League season online in Australia

If you’d prefer to live stream the A-League season online, you’ll be able to to do so in a number of ways.

As every single game of the season will be shown on Fox Sports, you’ll be able to live stream them through Kayo Sports, which is accessible for $25 per month.

You’ll also be able to use the traditional Fox Sports streaming applications, being the Foxtel App or Foxtel Now, while the MyFootball App will also have every game of the season.

For those games being shown on the ABC, you’ll also be able to live stream the action through IView.
