The Socceroos will be back in action as they aim to rack up another victory on the road to the FIFA World Cup when they head to Kaohsiung for a clash with Chinese Taipei. The match is scheduled to begin at 10:40pm (AEDT) on Tuesday, October 15.

This will be the third match in the Socceroos campaign to qualify for the World Cup and should be one of the easiest.

While the match is away from home for Australia, Chinese Taipei are ranked at 129 in the world and have been struggling through their campaign thus far.

The home team have lost to Jordan 2-1, and to Nepal 2-nil in their two much is so far, which doesn’t bode well for the side given, on paper at least, they would have been there two easiest matches, both at home.

Australia, on the other hand, are coming off a pair of wins, which include a 5-nil thumping of Nepal in Canberra last Tuesday, although Graham Arnold will feel there is room for improvement in his side.
