The highly-anticipated Great Britain Lions tour of the Oceania, set to feature four matches, will get underway on Saturday as they take on Tonga in Hamilton. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online, or watching it on TV in Australia.

The match is set to get underway at 6pm (AEDT) – that’s 8pm local time – and will be played on Saturday, October 26 at the Waikato Stadium in Hamilton, New Zealand.

England’s big matches will come in the form of a two-Test series, although this match against Tonga is also paired up with a game against Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby for a total of four matches while Wayne Bennett’s side are in this part of the world.

Tonga, on the other hand, will take on Australia in the Oceania Cup next weekend, making for a two-Test post-season program.

How to watch the game on TV

In Australia, there will only be one way to watch the first match of the Lions 2019 tour of the Oceania – and that’s through Fox Sports.

Using their 24/7 rugby league channel, known as Fox League on Channel 502, they will begin coverage of the Test to be played in Hamilton at 5:30pm (AEDT), half an hour before kick-off.

Coverage is anticipated to run until after 8pm (AEDT), however, that may be influenced by what time the match actually finishes.
