A long summer of cricket down under gets underway with the shortest form of the game, as Australia host Sri Lanka in a three-match T20 series. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming each match of the series online, or watching them on TV.

The series is set to get underway on Sunday, October 27 at 2:30pm (AEDT), with the first match to be held at the Adelaide Oval in South Australia.

The following matches in the series against Sri Lanka will then be held at the Gabba in Brisbane on Wednesday, October 30, and at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday, November 1, with both of those matches to commence in prime time, at 7:10pm (AEDT).

Australia haven’t played T20 cricket for quite some time, with their recent assignments being a drawn Test series against England in the Ashes, and a semi-final appearance at the World Cup.

Their hiatus on playing the shortest form of the game ends here though, with the national team set to play 21 T20s against seven nations in the next twelve months ahead of hosting duties for the T20 World Cup next summer.

Sri Lanka bring impressive form into the game, with Lasith Malinga’s side beating Pakistan 3-0 in their most recent T20 cricket.

How to watch the series on TV

The current deal with Cricket Australia and television networks is that all T20 international matches played by the Australian cricket team in Australia are televised by Fox Sports.

They will broadcast the matches on their exclusive cricket channel, known as Fox Cricket and located at Channel 501 on Foxtel services, with coverage of each match starting 30 minutes before the scheduled start time.

To watch the matches on Fox Cricket, you’ll need to ensure you have a valid Foxtel TV subscription, which is also complete with the sports package of channels.

How to live stream the series online
