Teleplay has caused something of an upset by taking out the 2019 Jim Beam Stakes at Flemington on Melbourne Cup Day.
In the last race before the Melbourne Cup proper, Teleplay – who was paying $11 to win – edged out heavy favourites La Tigeresa and Sweet Scandal (second and third, respectively) to claim the win in race number six.
