With the Melbourne Cup finally over, we all need to know who finished where to see how our best went in 2019.

It was a dramatic post-race protest that changed the fourth-place finisher in the end. Il Paradiso originally crossed the line in fourth, but was promoted to third after stewards found Master of Reality interfered on the final turn.

Master of Reality is a five-year-old Bay Gelding, trained by Joseph O’Brien and jockeyed by Frankie Dettori.
