It was a dramatic post-race protest that changed the fourth-place finisher in the end. Il Paradiso originally crossed the line in fourth, but was promoted to third after stewards found Master of Reality interfered on the final turn.

Master of Reality is a five-year-old Bay Gelding, trained by Joseph O’Brien and jockeyed by Frankie Dettori.

Winning Trifecta

Second place: Prince of Arran
Third place: Il Paradiso

For everyone playing along at home, the fourth-place-getters of the past three years were Finche in 2018, Big Duke in 2017 and Qewy in 2016.
