The Matildas will be back in action on Saturday as they look to fine-tune their preparation for the Olympic Games qualifiers early next year with a two-match series at home against Chile. This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online, or watching it on TV in Australia.

In what will be the first of two games worth of critical preparation for the Matildas, it’ll be the first international football game for either gender to be held at Bankwest Stadium in Parramatta, with kick-off scheduled for 3pm (AEDT) on Saturday, November 9.

Asian qualification for next year’s Olympics, to be held in Japan, will be as cut throat as it gets, with a group stage leading into straight knockout play in two-leg ties, meaning the Matildas will want to make a statement against Chile in these matches on home soil.

How to watch the match on TV

The match between the Matildas and Chile – and both games in the series – will be available to watch on TV through both Pay TV and free to air TV in Australia.

On Foxtel, the broadcaster of most football in the country, Fox Sports, will broadcast the match on Channel 503, with coverage commencing at 2:30pm (AEDT), allowing for a half an hour pre-game show.
