On an episode of the Will and MJ show, the Triple M duo spoke about at length, how the Port Adelaide chairman David Koch (Kochie) was not being followed back on Instagram by several of its key players.

With the Triple M personalities baffled at the lack of coverage their segment received, it’s up to me to give it the coverage it deserves.

So here are some Power players that are surprisingly not giving the chairman a follow.

5. Dan Houston
Dan Houston has become a permanent fixture in the Port Adelaide side.

The medium-sized defender has impressed so far in his young career, and while Koch may be admiring his work on the field, his off-field work would leave a lot to be desired if Kochie doesn’t get that follow soon.

So Houston whenever you’ve got time to drag yourself away from gawking at Brooke Hogan and Genie Bouchard, maybe give Kochie a follow.

4. Ryan Burton
Needing to make an impact for Port Adelaide since moving across from the Hawks at the end of 2018, it would not hurt Burton to make himself more likeable to the chairman by following him on Instagram. When you’re done liking every picture of a wave that ‘saltywings’ uploads, give the chairman a follow.

3. Sam Powell-Pepper
So now that he’s learnt what to do and what not to do on Instagram, maybe it’s time to give Kochie a follow. Suffice to say the chairman has defended him enough to warrant a follow. If you get bored of Joe Rogan posting about his elk hunting, how about giving Kochie some much deserved appreciation.

2. Tom Rockliff
Rockliff is yet to show the chairman of the club who gave him new life as an AFL player some love. If you’re going to take the piss by dressing up as the chairman and jumping into a wheelie bin in for the FightMND cause this year, then an Instagram follow would be sufficed.

You’re following 607 accounts, but the chairman isn’t one.

1. Justin Westhoff
A regular player during the dark times of the club from 2008 to 2012, you would think that Westhoff would follow the man who got the club out a dire situation. Yet, surprisingly the club cult figure is not showing Kochie any love on the social media platform.

And to complete an absolute slap in the face to the chairman, Westhoff is following Today show host Karl Stefanovic, the rival program which Koch features on. Expected better from an experienced player at the club. In between your love of architecture and interior design, make time for the chairman.

A bit of advice to the aforementioned – do not follow the Cash Cow before you follow Kochie.
