Super Rugby makes its long-awaited Australian return on Friday, July 3, as the Queensland Reds and NSW Waratahs renew hostilies at Suncorp Stadium at 7:05pm (AEST).

With Super Rugby proper on the shelf, the new Super Rugby AU season sees Australia’s four Super Rugby franchises – plus the revived Western Force – go head-to-head in a ten-week regular season before finals in September.

Two matches will be played each week; one on the Friday night at 7:05pm (AEST) and the other on the Saturday night at 7:15pm (AEST). The fifth team will get a bye.

Each team will play each other twice and have two byes, before a two-week finals series kicks off in September.

You can check out the full Super Rugby AU fixtures here.

The competition is following an almost identical structure to the New Zealand equivalent Super Rugby Aotearoa.

Kayo is the simplest and most cost-effective option, Foxtel Now is for those who want to stream more than just Foxtel’s sport content, while Foxtel GO is for existing Foxtel subscribers who can’t get to a telly while the rugby’s on.
