England vs West Indies first Test live stream, TV Guide: How to watch the cricket online or on TV

Live, international Test cricket is finally back on the menu as England begin their three-Test series with the West Indies tonight at 8pm (AEST). This is The Roar’s guide to live streaming the match online, or watching it on TV.

It will the first international Test match in some time, with the two nations set to lock horns at Southampton’s Rose Bowl.

How to watch the first Test on TV in Australia

The only way to watch this Test on TV will be through Fox Cricket. They’ll have pre-match coverage beginning at 7:30pm (AEST), before the first ball is delivered closer to 8pm.

The only way to watch Fox Cricket is by having a valid Foxtel TV subscription, with the sports package included. If you’ve got that sorted, you can watch Fox Cricket on channel 501, or channel 255 in HD.

Like all international Test matches not featuring Australia, this match will not be available to view on free-to-air television.

How to live stream the first Test online in Australia

Fortunately, there are a fair few options available to you if you’d prefer to stream the match online – and one of them is free!

In an unprecedented development, fans will able to watch all three England-West Indies Tests live on the Cricket Australia website, or on the Cricket Australia app.

While you need to create a Cricket ID to access the stream, this is free.

Other options include Kayo Sports, which gives you access to almost all of Foxtel’s sporting content on your preferred device.

Other options include Foxtel Now, which lets you stream other Foxtel content in addition to sport, or Foxtel GO – the better option if you already have the pay-TV subscription but can’t get to a TV.
