The Adelaide Crows have had a season to forget so far in 2020.

In Matthew Nicks’ first season as the Adelaide Football Club senior coach, the Crows have struggled and currently sit 18th on the AFL ladder with a win-loss record of 0-5.

The team has struggled in all areas of their game plan in 2020. One thing that we know is that Adelaide cannot use being in the hub as an excuse.

Currently the Crows have the following players on their injury list: Rory Sloane (ankle, test), Darcy Fogarty (shoulder, test), Will Hamill (concussion, test), Patrick Wilson (shoulder, test), Rory Atkins (shoulder, three-five weeks), Wayne Milera (foot, six-seven weeks) and Jordan Gallucci (Achilles, season).

This also cannot be used as an excuse for the Adelaide Crows.

They have one of the healthiest lists in the AFL.

You simply aren’t playing players like Bryce Gibbs in your team when your team’s best 22 isn’t performing, Matthew Nicks.

Bryce Gibbs could be the spark for the Adelaide Crows’ line-up that they have been missing.

However, one player will not fix Adelaide’s 2020 struggles. It is up to them to play as a team and make sure that their game plan is a style and brand of footy that will help the Crows to improve their 2020 season to date.

There is another thing that must simply stop being discussed and floated around by the AFL media and that is their eventful training camp, which occurred in 2018.

The culture at the club may have been a problem but the media continuing to circulate new details about what occurred on that Adelaide Football Club training camp in 2018 is simply outrageous.

Mark Ricciuto, you need to simply think before you speak, because as a great of the Adelaide Football Club, for the love of your club, can you please act in an appropriate manner?

Currently, you’re acting ridiculously.

The Adelaide Football Club need to regroup and find a spark that will hopefully reignite Adelaide as an exciting footy club to watch as they simply have a problem at the club that must be fixed immediately.

For one thing, we know season 2020 has been a season to forget for the Adelaide Football Club members and supporters and the AFL community in general.

So Adelaide, you need to stand up and be the pride of South Australia.
