The Brumbies and Reds go head-to-head in the first-ever Super Rugby AU final at GIO Stadium tonight. Here’s everything you need to know to live stream all the action or watch it on TV.

These two sides were comfortably the best of Super Rugby AU, the Brumbies dominating the first half of the season before the Reds became the form team of the comp in the last month.

With the Brumbies at home but Queensland having had a slightly better run of recent results, it sets up a tantalising clash for the decider.

When does the Super Rugby AU final start?

The final will kick off at 7:20pm (AEST), slightly later than the regular 7:15pm timeslot which every other Saturday-night match has occupied this season.

That makes it a 6:50pm start for viewers in the Northern Territory and South Australia, 4:20pm for Perth rugby fans, and 9:20pm for anyone across the ditch in New Zealand keen on watching the game.

How to live stream the Super Rugby AU final

With the Super Rugby final broadcast on Fox Sports, there are a few live streaming options for rugby fans in Australia who want to watch the match online.

The first is through Kayo Sports. The sports-only streaming option gives you access to all of the channels available in Foxtel’s sports package, which will allow subscribers to watch tonight’s Brumbies versus Reds encounter.

Monthly subscriptions start at $25 per month, and there’s a 14-day free trial option available for new subscribers – just click on the above link to get started.

Another way to watch the match is via Foxtel Now, which is essentially a regular Foxtel subscription solely for live streaming. It’s more expensive than Kayo – you’re looking at at least $54 per month once you’ve added in the sports pack – but there’s also a free trial available for new subscribers which will get you a taste of everything.

Alternatively, if you already have a Foxtel TV subscription but can’t get in front of the telly for the game, you can watch any of the channels you subscribe to via Foxtel Go, which will be included in your deal.

How to watch the Super Rugby AU final on TV

If you want to catch the action through a television signal, your options are limited. With no free-to-air coverage, the only way to watch the Super Rugby AU final on TV in Australia is on Fox Sports 505, for which you’ll need a Foxtel subscription with the sports package included.

Fox’s coverage will begin at 6:50pm (AEST), giving us half an hour of pre-game build-up before the match begins.
