The Sydney Roosters will face off against the Canberra Raiders in the NRL’s second week of finals football at the SCG. Whether you are supporting from home on the couch or overseas, live streaming on a device or watching the game on the TV, here’s everything you need to know to watch the action.

The Raiders progressed to the semi-final courtesy of what ended up as a comfortable victory over the Sharks last week, while the Roosters made their way into this clash after a one-point loss to the Panthers in their elimination final.

Tonight’s match is a rematch of last year’s gripping grand final, which Sydney got the better of with a 14-8 win.

The semi-final will kick-off at the usual Friday night football time, 7:50pm (AEDT).

That makes it a 6:20pm kick-off for viewers in the Northern Territory and South Australia, 4:50pm for Perth viewers, and 10:20pm for viewers in New Zealand.

Sydney versus Canberra will be streamed through Kayo Sports. The Kayo app is perfect if you are wanting to watch the finals clash from a device, and will have streams of all the NRL finals before the grand final.

You can get access to a monthly subscription from $25 per month, or alternatively if you want to try out the service beforehand, there’s a 14-day free trial available for new subscribers.

Channel Nine, as the free-to-air television broadcaster, will also carry their coverage of the finals on 9Now. 9Now is a free streaming service, however you will need to create an account before watching anything there.

Another option for streaming the game is via Foxtel Now. Essentially the streaming service version of Foxtel, it will be a little more expensive than Kayo. With the sports pack added to the service, it is at least $54 per month, but there’s also a free trial available for new subscribers which will allow you to experience everything.

The NRL Live Pass app is another alternative streaming platform, which is free to applicable Telstra mobile customers. If you are not a Telstra customer, you need to purchase the Live Pass and it will cost you $99.99. The app can be downloaded to your preferred device from both Google Play and the App Store.

If you aren’t in Australia and are looking to watch the game while abroad, you can via Watch NRL. The official international streaming service offers a range of subscription offers, just be sure to check you’re in an eligible country before signing up.

How to watch Sydney Roosters vs Canberra Raiders on TV

If you want to catch the game at home on the television, the Nine Network will be showing it on free-to-air TV. The match will be showed on their main channel in NSW, while viewers in other states will need to check local guides to see which of their channels to tune into.

Fox Sports is the pay TV broadcaster for the NRL, with Fox League to show all of the finals except the grand final live. You’ll need a Foxtel subscription with the sports pack included to watch their coverage.
