We have had a wild week in the NBA so far, from James Harden teaming up with Nets, to games getting postponed due to conavirus protocols.

However, NBA basketball continues and here are my predictions for some of the key matches today.

The Nets will travel to Orlando as they take on the Magic.

The question that basketball lovers are asking right now is will James Harden debut for the Brooklyn Nets today on the road against the Orlando Magic?

The answer to this much asked question since the blockbuster trade is that there has not been a decision made by Harden yet.

We will just have to wait until game time to get any information on when Harden’s first game as a Brooklyn Net will be.

Kyrie Irving will once again not play, reportedly due to health and safety protocols. This will be the Australian’s sixth straight missed game of the season.

Nets fans are starting to worry about Irving as he might be missing out on games for a little more than health and safety reasons.

With all the Kyrie Irving and James Harden drama aside, the Nets will be coming into this game with two straight wins and looking to make it three in Amway Centre against the Magic.

With Kevin Durant being the only All Star player on the team while Irving has been absent, he has still been able to come up with wins as he has averaged 32 points over the three games that he has been alone without Irving.

This has been impressive leadership for Durant and now with James Harden joining the team, Irving will not have to do all the hard work as he will have another All Star beside him.

Brooklyn’s next opponents, the Orlando Magic, on the other hand, have had an up-and-down season so far as they started the season 4-0. However they have come up with losses in their last three games, leading them to a 6-6 record.

All of these three losses have been blowouts as their smallest losing margin in these three last losses is by 14 points coming at the hands of the Dallas Mavericks when Tim Hardaway was able to put up 36 against the Magic.

Their biggest blowout in the three games was in their last loss as they lost by 27 points to the Celtics. Nikola Vucevic is having a great season as he is leading the Magic in points per game and rebounds per game with an average of 22.5 points and 11.3 rebounds per game this season.

If Harden plays against Orlando, the men in white and blue will look to spoil the Harden welcoming party and gain their seventh win of the season.

Overall, if James Harden plays you can expect a Nets win. However if he does not play it will most likely be a tough fought contest that can well and truly have the ability to go into the closing moments of the match-up.

Harden will play tomorrow and Brooklyn will secure a comfortable win and move their record to 7-6.
