Two meetings to look at this Tuesday, with racing at Tabcorp Park Menangle and Albion Park. Here are the best bets for the respective programs.

Albion Park

Best bet: Race One Number 8 Illbewatching

Pretty keen on this guy in the opener. Ran here last Tuesday and was good in defeat behind a very classy youngster in I Am Sparta, beaten 20m, but safely held the rest at bay.

All he needs is luck from the draw and he will be too good for this lot, who look quite average at very best.

Next best: Race Four Number 1 Jingles Bromac
Matty Elkins has him flying at present and he can make it three on end.

Has had to overcome the ODM in both wins, but he has been dominant each time. Now he’s back in the draw, he has gate one, so holds a forward and he only has to hold his current to just about take out another win.

Value: Race Seven Number 1 Coppice
He is worthy of an each-way ticket.

He does his best racing from when he leads and from the draw, he should have little trouble holding the lead.

Had a second line gate last start and the setup just wasn’t ideal for him. Gets a much better scenario this time around and can run a bold race from in front.

Tabcorp Park Menangle

Best bet: Race One Number 5 Kyvalley Boomerang

Just has better form than these and should be winning.

This is the easiest race he has contested in some time, generally racing in 54-75 rating races. He is in a very moderate race here and is usually pretty good away from the stand, so should he find the front, he’ll be too good.

Next best: Race Three Number 5 Knockawarwon
Short, but should be winning.

Debuted here three weeks ago when showing good gate speed to lead and seemed to have his chance, but was still good in defeat in running a close-up second. The depth here isn’t strong and with that gate speed, he finds the front and will prove a tough commodity to get past.

Value: Race Six Number 1 Gigi Bob
Her winning claims will be known at the start. They have driven her positively her past couple, both at Newcastle.

She has been forced to sit in the breeze each time but has stuck on pretty well in defeat. Should do no work from the pole and worst-case scenario, leaders back or three pegs, she’ll be dangerous.
