Two meetings to look at on Tuesday, with Tabcorp Park Menangle and Albion Park the focus. Down below are the best bets for the respective programs.
Tabcorp Park Menangle
Best Bet: Race One Number 9 Sunny Gee
He’s likely to start short, but do feel he has a bit on these. Forget he went around last time. Early break saw him take no competitive part last start behind Rave On Hall.
Prior efforts were quite good and the form around him is just far superior to anything engaged. Just needs to get away cleanly.
Next Best: Race Four Number 9 Fox Trot Hill
Confident he can bounce back into the winners list. Has been freshened up since making a rare break here on Feb 9, putting pay to his winning claims.
Put together four wins on the bounce prior and does possess good gate speed, so think he finds the front and from there, he’ll take a power of beating.
Value: Race Five Number 8 Elroy Jetson
Like that he is on the quick back up. I’d be forgiving of his down the track effort here on Saturday night. Just got too far back in a fast race where they ran a tick over 1.51 for the mile, which is pretty slick going.
His best racing recently has been in claiming races so back to this level, think he can bounce back.
Albion Park
Best Bet: Race Two Number 2 Ellie Jay
Pretty keen on her chances here. On the quick back up after giving them a lesson at Marburg on Sunday. Admittedly, it was a pretty thin race, but she did make a mess of them and largely thanks to her gate speed.
She should lead from the good draw this time around and if the stable is happy to back up, I’m happy to be on.
Next Best: Race Four Number 2 At West Point
It seems to be lead or bust with this guy, so with the good draw, I suspect they’ll be aggressive in finding the front, giving him his best chance to win. Has done far too much work on speed his past couple, sitting in the breeze both runs. He should find the front this time and prove hard to run down.
Value: Race Seven Number 11 Sun Safe
More of a 1×3 speck at big odds. Just got dragged back from a tricky draw last time and couldn’t get involved.
Decent trailing draw this time around I feel, likely follows the stablemate, and at big odds, you don’t need to have much on to get a decent collect. $20+ I’d want to have a bet.
