The fans of missing Brisbane Broncos star Anthony Milford are pleading to anybody with information on his whereabouts to immediately contact coach Kevin Walters.

Mr Milford, 26, vanished after leaving Suncorp Stadium at the conclusion of the Round 5 clash against the South Sydney Rabbitohs at 7:50 pm Thursday the 8th of April.

He is described as being 177cm tall, with an athletic build and short black hair, brown eyes and a brown complexion.

“We’re very stressed … we just want answers”, a supporter stated.

“For him to just disappear, to not call and check in, it’s very out of character.”

The Brisbane Broncos went into the game against South Sydney Rabbitohs as heavy underdogs after having lost their last 11 consecutive games away from home.

News broke after the game and Greg ‘Brandy’ Alexander reportedly stated Milford had gone missing a long time ago and there was some suggestion he had made off with a considerable sum of money.

He was last seen wearing a Brisbane Broncos jersey and had told family he intended to recapture some form in the Intrust Super Cup prior to his disappearance.

His fans hold grave fears for his playing future and say that it is unlikely he will be seen at Red Hill for a while. Mr Milford’s teammates said it is unusual for him to not call or text his teammates, who he saw almost every day.

Fans remain hopeful of his return and are currently looking to Tom Dearden and Brodie Croft for answers in relation to his disappearance.

They may have insight into his whereabouts.

It comes on the back of Broncos winger Corey Oates appearing for the first time this year. Fans had similar concerns for the big fellow however they were relieved to have him reappear in Thursday night’s clash against the Penrith Panthers at Suncorp Stadium.

A third player has been linked to the disappearance and he has been named as Karmichael Hunt.

There is some suspicion the cross code star could be implicated although this has not been substantiated by the club, despite substantial whisperings.
