While the Reds’ final-round loss to the Force stopped them from registering an unbeaten season, they’ve still been clearly the dominant side in the competition this year.

Their reward is a home rematch of last year’s final against the always imposing Brumbies, who fought their way past the Force in a tense qualifying final to make it to the last two.

When does the Super Rugby AU final start?

First kick-off for the big game is scheduled for 7:45pm (AEST), the same time as all other Saturday night matches have begun this season.

This means a 5:45pm start for Western Australian viewers, 7:15pm for Northern Territory and South Australian rugby fans, and 9:45pm for any New Zealanders keen to burn the midnight oil and watch the action from across the Tasman.

Pre-match coverage of the final will begin at 7pm (AEST) on Channel Nine or 9Gem, and 6:45pm on Stan Sport’s stream.

They’ve been broadcasting every match of the Super Rugby AU season adbreak-free, and will cover the entirety of the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman competition when that kicks off next week.

Their package works as a $10 per month add-on to a Stan subscription, which costs as low as $10 a month as well. New subscribers may also be eligible for a 30-day free trial – simply click on the link above to get started.

Your second option is through 9Now, Nine’s main streaming service. They have been streaming one Super Rugby AU match per week on the 9Gem feed, and will do so again tonight.
