Two meetings to look at on Tuesday, with my focus being at Tabcorp Park Menangle and Albion Park. The best bets for the respective programs are down below.

Tabcorp Park Menangle

Best bet: Race 3 Number 9 Lucky Charm
Forgive the last start and bet up with confidence. She was putting together a really strong sequence of runs before the effort last time out where she galloped halfway home and that put pay to her winning claims. Off the prior form, she just has too much on these, so I’m confident she wins.

Next-best: Race 8 Number 4 Soho Almasi
She has too much class for this lot I’d suggest. She was far from disgraced two back in the Gold Bracelet at Bathurst behind a star in Anntonia, and then raced here in the Golden Easter Egg. Just had too much to do from where she was in the run and the effort was full of merit. She has the gate speed to lead.

Value: Race 10 Number 5 Lani Kai Beach
He mixes his form, but his best would see him run a cheeky race here at a big price. He was really good here two back over the mile. Then he went to the 2300m and just got a mile back from the wide gate. I dare say Jimmy Douglass will find the pegs, three/four back, do no work and look to get luck in the straight. If he does, he’s a sneaky chance.

Albion Park

Best bet: Race 4 Number 1 Dance In The Sun
A talented filly who has class and should be too brilliant for this lot. Beaten odds on pop-fresh last week, but she resumed without a trial and just looked in need of the run. She will take seriously good improvement from that and with gate speed, she should lead and prove far too good.

Next-best: Race 6 Number 1 Moonan Mia
This mare does tend to race best when getting a suck run behind the speed with cover and using her late finishing burst to blouse them so the gate is perfect. She has the speed to hold up early, then potentially opt for cover behind a key market rival and from there she should receive every chance.

Value: Race 3 Number 8 Major Tralee
He traditionally saves his best for Redcliffe, but he has such a good trailing draw to use here and if he can land box seat, he’ll only run well at a decent price. He ran last time out in one of those silly 947m races. Forget that run. His prior form was sound and should he hold the back of likely leader Raani, he’s in with a shout.
