The 2021 State of Origin series kicks off tonight, with the Queensland Maroons and New South Wales Blues resuming hostilities. If you’re after an Origin live stream, or want to watch Origin on TV, here’s all the info you need.

Game 1 of the series kicks off at 8:10pm (AEST) tonight at Townsville’s Queensland Country Bank Stadium.
Unlike most other NRL matches, the only way to stream State of Origin live is through 9Now – Channel Nine’s official streaming service.
Luckily, 9Now is free to access and is available as a website on all computers or an app through most current mobile or tablet devices.
You will need to create yourself a 9Now account, but this is free. Once you’ve done that, you can stream Origin 1 live.
However, 9Now is only available in Australia. If you’re watching the game overseas, you’ll need to use WatchNRL – the NRL’s overseas streaming option.
The price of a WatchNRL subscription varies based on the package chosen, so investigate the options thoroughly before committing to a purchase.
If you’re a Kayo subscriber, you will not be able to stream Origin live. Kayo does not have the rights to stream Origin live.
However, you will still be able to watch on-demand replays as per normal once the game is over.
As above, the only way you’ll be able to watch Origin 1 is live is on the Nine Network.
Nine’s comprehensive coverage of the big game begins at 7pm (AEST) and should be on the proper Nine channel no matter what state or territory you’re in.
As always, however, check your local guides for confirmation.
Like with Kayo, Fox League does not have the rights to broadcast State of Origin live. You will not be able to watch Origin live on Fox League. However, they will have some replays scheduled after the fact.
