Josh Addo-Carr scored the opening try for the NSW Blues against the Queensland Maroons in State of Origin 2 at Suncorp Stadium.
It was Addo-Carr’s ninth try at Origin level.
It came in the 12th minute after a well-worked play by the Blues who had earlier defended a number of promising raids by the Maroons.
The Blues looked dangerous with the play spreading out from halfback Nathan Cleary and James Tedesco throwing the ball wide to send Addo-Carr into the corner.
Addo-Carr was relatively quiet in Origin 1 and it put the Maroons on notice for the rest of the game.
