Welcome to The Roar’s complete Origin 2 betting guide, with all the odds for the result, margins, the line, first try-scorer and man of the match – all thanks to our good friends at PlayUp.

And remember, if you are having a punt on the game, please do so responsibly.

The result

The NSW Blues are once again firm favourites to clinch the series with a Game 2 victory, even at Suncorp Stadium. They’re paying $1.19 to get up – even shorter odds than they were going into Game 1.

Yes, their history at Suncorp Stadium doesn’t make for great reading, but the Blues are in scintillating form at the moment, while injury and form has bitten the Maroons hard.

With Kalyn Ponga again missing, the hosts are paying a whopping $4.80 to keep the series alive.

For what it’s worth, the draw is paying $31 for any particularly adventurous punters out there.

The line

The line sits at 15.5 points ahead of the game – that’s far bigger than the 5.5-point line for Game 1, with the Blues and Maroons each paying $2.00 to cover it.

The margin

The main markets for margin betting are the standard options of 1-12 and 13+.

The Blues’ red-hot favouritism is exemplified by the fact they’re paying $1.68 to record another 13+-point blowout, which makes the $3.30 they’re paying to only win between 1-12 points probably a smarter bet.

Meanwhile, the Maroons are paying a hefty $7 for every dollar backed on them to win by 1-12, while the $17 odds offered for them to win by 13+ could be tantalising if you’re a Maroons fan who believes in miracles.

First try-scorer

Despite not scoring a try in the Blues’ 50-6 Game 1 demolition, Josh Addo-Carr is once again the favourite to score the first four-pointer of the match. He’s listed at $7.50, while his fellow Blues winger Brian To’o, who nabbed a debut double in Game 1, is hot on his heels at $8. The shortest odds are all Blue, too, with hat-trick hero and Game 1 man of the match Tom Trbojevic ($9), captain James Tedesco ($11) and Latrell Mitchell ($11) next in line.

Sitting sixth, Valentine Holmes is the shortest-priced Queenslander at $12; he’s followed by Kyle Feldt at $14 and Dane Gagai at $15. Their sole try-scorer from Game 1, Kurt Capewell, is all the way down at $21.

Up next is a trio of Blues in James Tedesco ($7), Jarome Luai ($12) and Latrell Mitchell ($12), before the first Queenslander in Cam Munster ($14).
