After falling agonisingly short of her first gold medal, Jessica Fox now sets her sights on the women’s canoe slalom to achieve Olympic glory on Thursday.
The four-time canoe slalom world champion had the fifth-fastest run in the heats to progress into the semi-finals where the Australian looks to make it through to the final, both of which will be held this afternoon.
What time does Jessica Fox start?
While the semi-final event starts at 3pm (AEST), Fox doesn’t get underway until 3.39pm AEST, or 1.39pm AWST for viewers on the Western side of Australia. That’s fourteenth in the start order at the Kasai Canoe Slalom Centre but tune in earlier just in case they’re ahead of schedule.
Following that, the women’s canoe slalom final will start at 4.55pm AEST.
How to watch Jessica Fox canoe slalom run
Both Channel 7 and 7plus have the exclusive rights to the Olympics and are the only places you can legally watch the Games.
Currently, Channel 7 is slotted to show Jessica Fox’s canoe slalom on their main free-to-air channel, that’s channel 70 in metro areas. However, don’t worry if you can’t find it there as 7 is prone to switching between events throughout the day. If you can’t find the canoe run on 7’s main channel, it will likely be shown on 7mate, which is channel 73 in metropolitan areas.
If you’d prefer to live stream the canoe slalom semi-final, you can do so on 7plus for free online. 7plus offers an app for mac and android devices by downloading through the relevant app store but can also be accessed online. Most smart TVs and gaming consoles also have the 7plus app on the main application page. Chromecast devices can also be used to stream 7plus on your TV.
