It’s been confirmed that Foxtel and Kayo will not be showing the first-ever T20 series between Australia and Bangladesh which starts tonight.

In a lot of overseas tours, Foxtel has managed to secure the rights at the last minute when it appeared that no Australian broadcaster would be showing the cricket.

It was assumed that the same thing would happen with the Bangladesh tour just as it did with the World Test Championship final earlier this year.

However, this time around the rights have not been secured by Foxtel. We don’t know the exact reasons but the costs for the rights and the late starting time of the matches no doubt contributed with the T20 tonight not starting until 10pm AEST.

How to watch Bangladesh vs Australia in the T20 series?
Australia will play five T20s against Bangladesh starting in Dhaka.

The matches were expected to be shown on YouTube for free through RabbitholeBD Sports on YouTube but that information has since changed according to cricket.com.au.

“The series is being streamed in some regions on YouTube via the RabbitholeBD Sports channel, including in Bangladesh, but that service is also not available to viewers in Australia,” their website stated once the first T20 started.

That means there’s no ‘easy’ way to watch the series from Australia.

What time does it start?
All five matches start at 10pm AEST.

T20 1: August 3
T20 2: August 4
T20 3: August 6
T20 4: August 7
T20 5: August 9
