There are two meetings to look at on Tuesday, with Albion Park and Menangle getting my focus.

Albion Park

Best bet – Race 3, No. 3: Sabrage
The veteran is racing very well veteran, and he gets a perfect set-up to bounce back onto the winners list. He ran here last Tuesday when forced to sit parked outside Key Largo, who is near unbeatable at this level when leading, and that was the case. Sabrage stuck on really well to run second. He has the early toe to find the front, and from there he should take a power of beating.

Next best bet – Race 9, No. 2: Flight Crew
Her manners have been an issue since arriving from New Zealand, hence she had the outside draw mobile tag on her, but after a couple of strong efforts it’s been removed, and she’s come up with a good gate to showcase gate speed instead of being dragged back. If she finds the front and does everything right, it’ll take a good performance to run her down.

Value bet – Race 5, No. 8: Karaoke Rock
This five-year-old follows out a fast beginner, so he could potentially land leaders back, and if that is indeed the case, I think he’ll run a big race at a price. Admittedly he’s had this draw his past four runs and hasn’t won, but I just think the tempo and the race shape will play ideally into his hands. In my opinion, he only runs well.

Best bet – Race 2, No. 7: Aldebaran Revani
She’s the multi-booster for your bets this week, whether it be racing or spot or whatever you bet on. She looks a potential Group l prospect for the McCarthy camp and has been just sensational since arriving from the US. She should make a mess of them and confirm herself as the next star of Australian trotting.

Next best bet – Race 1, No. 7: Aorangi
Formerly with Tim Butt, this gelding is now with Team Rando, and I think he’ll resume with a win. He did a solid job when with Butt, ending his career for the camp in Victoria. Back in New South Wales under the care of the Rando camp, he has trialled up very well to get ready, and with gate speed he’s clearly the one to beat.

Value bet – Race 6, No. 1: Ultimate Ad
I’m not sure he can beat Bettor Romance, but he’s worth a speck – 1×3 at odds from the pole. He’s contested much stronger races overall than this in recent times and has just been outclassed. He’s much better suited in a race like this and, doing no work on the pegs, he’s in with a shout as a place chance.
