Two meetings to look at on Tuesday, with my focus at Tabcorp Park Menangle and Albion Park.

Tabcorp Park Menangle

Best bet: Race 3, Number 4, Kowhai Blaze
She makes her debut and pretty confident it will be a winning debut. She hasn’t trialled in Australia but did win a trial at Ashburton back in September in impressive fashion, clocking a good mile rate. Now with Jack Trainor, she looks smart and far too good for this seemingly average bunch.

Next best: Race 5, Number 6, Gliding Away
He will likely be short but I think he wins. Australian debut came here last Tuesday where he came with a well timed run from off the speed and clocked a fast 1.52 mile rate, which is good going for an Australian debut. Tricky gate, but should find cover and prove hard to hold out late.

Value: Race 6, Number 2, Irvine
He’s worth a 1×3 speck at odds. Just gave away too much start at Goulburn last time out but finished his race off with real purpose late in the piece when second. Should get an economical run from the draw and if the speed is on, look for him to launch at them late.

Albion Park

Best bet: Race 4, Number 8, Ring The Till
His form had really tapered off but he’s won his past two on the bounce in impressive fashion and confident he can make it three. He has had suck runs behind the speed in those wins and has produced really good change up speed when asked. That is the set up he gets again here, so happy to be in his corner.

Next best: Race 8, Number 1, Three In Heaven
Hopefully it’s an all the way triumph like it was here last week here where he drew the same gate, fired off to lead and he gave nothing else a look in, romping home by a space. There is a bit more depth this time around but he gets the lead again and will prove hard to beat again.

Value: Race 5, Number 8, Illbewatching
The start will be crucial here because if Maywyn Troubadour holds up from the pole, this guy can land leaders back and in that spot, he becomes quite dangerous. Wide gate didn’t help his cause at all when racing here last time, so I’m forgiving of that. If the cards fall his way, he’s a great each way bet.
