An All-Australian men’s doubles final completes a massive Saturday of tennis at the Australian Open with the pairing of Nick Kyrgios/Thanasi Kokkinakis taking on Matt Ebden and Max Purcell on Rod Laver Arena.

Whatever you think about the way Kyrgios goes about his tennis you have to appreciate just how much interest he and Kokkinakis have created for the tournament and doubles in general.

Throughout the tournament there have been packed arenas for all their doubles encounters and people who have never watched the format before are suddenly invested.

Ebden and Purcell have quietly gone about their business and they also managed to upset the no.2 seeds in the semi-finals.

That means between the two pairs they’ve collectively knocked out the 1, 2 and 3 seeds to reach the final.

What time does is the men’s doubles final?
