Can Magpies extend winning run when they travel to London Stadium?

After three wins on the trot and four games undefeated, the Magpies will be looking to extend their winning streak with a win over high-flying West Ham who are in fifth place.

London Stadium will host the clash on Saturday night at 11:30pm AEDT.

Not only are United missing right-back maverick, Kieran Tripper, but the Magpies will not have the home support of the St James’ Park faithful as an advantage.

Although, visiting fans are sure to be in full force at London Stadium and often are louder than any home team United have played this season.

The game will be no formality, playing a team vying for a spot in Europe.

Javier Manquillo is reported to have sustained a knock during the Sunday’s game against Aston Villa. Jacob Murphy is also injured and unlikely to play.

Matt Ritchie, who has been used as more of a utility player this season, will be the most likely to start at right-back should Manquillo and Murphy be unavailable.

Joelinton had an immaculate performance against Villa over the weekend, taking out the man of the match award and is really developing into a box-to-box midfielder.

New Brazilian signing Bruno Guimarãs is likely to make his first start after having seemingly acclimatised to the league.

Without Trippier available for 6-8 weeks after picking up a metatarsal injury over the weekend, it appears as thought Newcastle has lost more than just a quality fullback, a deadly set-piece taker and a leader.

Can the Magpies winning streak continue despite the loss of talisman Trippier?
