Two meetings to look at on Tuesday, with Albion Park and Tabcorp Park Menangle getting my attention. Down below is best bets for the respective programs.

Albion Park

Best Bet: Race 4, Number 1, Sumomentsomewhere

Talented four year old that should win if he gets around the track okay. He should get around okay given he has been dominant his past two at Redcliffe, which can be a daunting task. He has the pole, should hold the front and barring bad luck, he wins again and wins comfortably.

Next Best: Race 8, Number 4, I Am Sparta

Provided he handles the back up, he wins and wins comfortably. Lot of arrogance about his win at Redcliffe on Saturday night, leading throughout and making an absolute mess of them.

He’s back on track, he loves Albion Park and should find the front, dominating proceedings.

Value: Race 9, Number 12, Isolation

Gelding that did it all wrong last time out at the start and threw away any chance of winning. His overall form in recent times has bene pretty solid and is certainly good enough to take this out.

He’ll need luck from the draw, but if he gets it, look for him to be strong at the end.

Tabcorp Park Menangle

Best Bet: Race 3, Number 5, Dance Secret

This gelding can be a bit hit and miss re manners, but ability wise, he has a bit on this lot. Had a second row draw at Goulburn last time but he overcame that and won impressively. I think he has the gate speed to find the front and from there, he’ll take a power of beating.

Next Best: Race 1, Number 6, My Ultimate Snowy

This colt brings different form but he looks an exciting prospect for Jarrod Alchin. Didn’t beat much on debut at Newcastle but the arrogance of the win was there to see, winning by a space and running fast time. He doesn’t bring the Gold Crown, but fresh legs and plenty of upside.

Value: Race 5, Number 1, Blissfullday

He’s worth a small each way speck at a price. He led at a solid tempo at Wagga last time out and I thought he battled on well when fourth, the race time being quite sharp. I don’t think he is suited leading, so opting for cover is best. If that eventuates, he’s in with a shout.
