There are two meetings to look at on Tuesday, with my focus being at Mildura and Menangle Extra. Below are the best bets for the respective programs.

Mildura

Best bet: Race 6, Number 7, Our Millionaire
Emma Stewart is back in a big way and her stable should continue the purple patch via this guy, who should win the first heat of the Mildura Cup. This horse had a dominant win two back in the Horsham Cup and was far from disgraced from a tricky gate in the Charlton Cup. This horse has drawn tricky, but has a few lengths on these regarding class.

Next best: Race 9, Number 4, Still Truckin
If this horse has the rub of the green, he wins. If he got that first up, he would have spanked them. But drawing gate one with no early speed, it ended up being a nightmare. This horse has drawn off the pegs, so he can find his feet early, bully his way to the front and from there, it should be a painless watch.

Value: Race 1, Number 1, Caulonia Courage
I am happy to speck 1×3 at odds in the opener. This is harder than what he has been facing in recent times, but he comes up with the perfect draw to land leaders back. He has had little luck with gates in recent times, but he draws to stalk the leader and is the likely favourite, doing no work and being strong late with clear air.

Menangle Extra

Best bet: Race 1, Number 3, Ripp
It should be a pretty painless watch for this star filly and this is a good multi anchor. She gave them an absolute spanking in the Gold Chalice at Bathurst back on March 26, landing big bets in the process. This horse was given a mini break but I loved a recent trial win at Bathurst and she looks the winner here.

Next best: Race 2, Number 2, Steno
She’s a filly in a purple patch and can keep winning. This horse made a mess of an average bunch at Young before heading to Penrith where she spanked them and was impressive again. This is a good test here, but she keeps winning and there was a big tick last start, beating up older horses. This horse is hard to beat.

Value: Race 5, Number 1, Rainbow Titan
He’s worth an each-way ticket at odds. He’ll be at odds because there’ll be an odds-on pop engaged, but he was impressive in winning at Newcastle last time. There was sweet seating from inside the second row and this horse was sharp late. This horse likely gets to double figures. I am happy to back each way.
