Two meetings to look at on Saturday night, with Albion Park and Tabcorp Park Menangle getting my attention. Down below are the best bets for the respective programs.

Albion Park

Best bet: Race 4, Number 1, Jasper

She’ll be short but she’ll be winning. Dominated an Australian Pacing Gold Heat here last start when controlling from the front and giving nothing else a look in, winning and winning comfortably. The depth here is nowhere near as strong. She’ll lead comfortably and win comfortably.

Next-best: Race 9, Number 1, My Ultimate Jacko

Quality juvenile that should be too sharp for this lot. Landed the 1/1 from a bad gate last start and once that eventuated, it was race over. From the pole, he should have little trouble leading and from in front, for a very much in form stable, he’ll be short but should dominate.

Value: Race 1, Number 1, Tommy Lincoln

Gee, this guy looks a big price. He lacks the class of a couple of key runners here, but he finally comes up with a gate to do no work and stalk a fast speed. His recent form is nothing to jump up and down about, but leaders back here, I think he’ll only run well at really good odds.

Tabcorp Park Menangle

Best bet: Race 3, Number 3, Justa Little Bit

Is clearly the best on the program. Ran here last Saturday and gee he was massive in defeat from the back, drawing gate eight. He had to drag back but loved the way he closed off. He draws to lead, stalk the speed at worst, and with that better run in transit, he’ll take a power of beating.

Next-best: Race 7, Number 3, My Ultimate Snowy

Rising star colt that is a good multi anchor for the night. Unbeaten in three career outings, he comfortably took care of them here last time out in a Heat and overall, the depth here isn’t strong. He should find the front comfortably and remain unbeaten. $1.40/thereabouts a good multi booster.

Value: Race 5, Number 3, Iam The Captain

Great 1×3 bet in the Group 1. He ran a beauty in a Heat of this race just under two weeks ago, running second to My Ultimate Byron. This race should be a peg dominated affair, with this guy landing three back the pegs, doing no work, sitting off a good speed and being strong late.
