With the A-League season only four weeks away, tens of thousands of fans league-wide are still contemplating whether they should become members of the clubs they support.

A-League memberships will guarantee your favourite seat and will alter in price – if you want to sit in general admission or seek cover from the elements in the grandstands.

They also come with discount for a Paramount+ subscription and depending on the club, you may receive a merchandise voucher or a hat and scarf.

All 12 sides’ membership prices have been revealed for the upcoming campaign, with stark difference in price between the most affordable and premium season tickets.

Central Coast Mariners 104 400
Newcastle Jets 195 400
Melbourne City 198 548
Macarthur FC 199 399
Western United 244 439
Western Sydney Wanderers 250 450
Adelaide United 269 459
Melbourne Victory 289 669
Wellington Phoenix 296 390
Brisbane Roar 300 425
Sydney FC 305 350
Perth Glory 355 475

The cheapest general admission membership ticket belongs to the smallest side in the competition, the Central Coast Mariners.

$104 to watch 13 matches is an absolute bargain especially when you consider the discount subscription for Paramount+ that is also included. They also have the fourth-cheapest grandstand membership ticket at $400.00.

The club will be hoping that paying as little as $8 a match will entice fans to turn up, in a season where the Gosford club are expected to not be in finals contention after losing several of their best players.

At the other end of the scale is Perth Glory.

Perth finished rock bottom in 2021-22, in a campaign where owner Tony Sage lost over $5 million and had to deal with the circus known as Daniel Sturridge.

The club’s home ground HBF Park will be out of action for some time due to renovations, which is a blessing in disguise for the besieged club. It costs over $100,000 to switch the lights on at the Perth ground.

Glory has the most expensive general admission membership ticket at an eye-watering $355, or you can sit in the grandstand for $475.

With a completely new playing group for the upcoming season, the club are still expected to finish near the bottom – which will see long-term owner Tony Sage lose million again.

Adelaide United supporters have already voiced their concerns at increased ticket prices due to the $50 million-plus redevelopment of Hindmarsh Stadium.

Meanwhile fans from across the league will look on with envy at the price Sydney FC fans will pay for a grandstand membership

At $350 it is the cheapest in the league, to have a seat at the recently-built $800 million Sydney Football Stadium

The best supported club in the league, Melbourne Victory, will be hoping that fans are generous with their wallets.

While the club is expectant of a title challenge, they may get a surprise with fans preferring the general admission membership as opposed to the league’s most expensive grandstand membership at $669.

There will be some sting in the membership ticket tail, though.

Some sides no longer offer the very popular ‘flexi tickets’ that only allowed you to attend three, six or eight matches – perfect for fans who couldn’t go to every match due to work and family commitments.
