The McKay-off is off at Marvel Stadium as Carlton Blues Coleman Medal leader Harry McKay has been withdrawn from their clash with the North Melbourne Kangaroos and twin brother Ben. Follow along with live scores on The Roar from 1:45pm (AEST).

Taken with high picks in the 2015 draft, the twins had never previously played against one another at the top level, and that trend will unfortunately continue this week. The Blues’ Harry has been ruled out of this clash with a toe injury, in a massive loss for David Teague.

The loss does ensure the 200th game milestone for Blues stalwart Ed Curnow gets the attention it deserves. The Blues have slowly but surely shifted to the next generation under David Teague, with Sam Walsh’s burgeoning star shining brightly in midfield; but Curnow remains as reliable as ever, whether tagging or in a ball-winning role. The Blues will be desperate to mark the occasion with a win that will keep their faint finals hopes alive.

Captain Patrick Cripps is a welcome return after missing the Pies match with injury; while the Roos welcome back their own midfield bulls in Ben Cunnington and Jed Anderson.
