The Essendon Bombers are searching for their first win and the St Kilda Saints are looking to bounce back at Marvel Stadium. Stay up to date with their AFL clash with live scores on The Roar from 4:35pm (AEDT).

Things could hardly be going any worse for Essendon to start 2021. They let a mammoth half time lead slip against Hawthorn in a heartbreaking Round 1 loss, before getting blown off the park by Port Adelaide last week and suffering injury carnage in the process. With their backs well and truly against the wall, the Bombers need to dig deep early in the season.

St Kilda did some deep digging of their own in Round 1, fighting off a mammoth injury list to see off the Giants in a close one, but they found the going too tough against Melbourne last week and went down by three goals. The Saints still aren’t at full strength, but they have no excuses not to put their opponents to the sword this evening.

The Saints were too good when these sides played last year, winning by 35 points after a dominant first half to give them five wins from their last seven clashes. St Kilda have been Docklands specialists of late, winning six of their last eight games at the venue, whereas as the Dons have lost three of their past four.
