Both the Fremantle Dockers and Hawthorn Hawks are looking to move to 2-2 in an important match to close out Round 4. Stay up to date with their AFL clash with live scores on The Roar from 4:40pm (AEST).

After making good progress in their first year under Justin Longmuir, the Dockers have been a bit hit and miss in 2021. They were missing Nat Fyfe against Carlton last Sunday, but the coach can’t have been impressed with how badly beaten Freo were in the 45-point loss. They have one win under their belt already, a comfortable win over the Giants, but the bar is higher at the club this season and they need to deliver.

Hawthorn are in a similar position, having pushed Geelong all the way on Easter Monday and also giving Richmond a shake before going down the week before. They too have a win under their belt, a one-point thriller over Essendon, but they could just as easily be 0-3 or 2-1. Alastair Clarkson will be after greater consistency within the game from his Hawks today.

The Dockers got the better of Hawthorn in last year’s meeting, coming out on top by 16 points to break a six-game losing streak against them. Fremantle haven’t won consecutive games against Hawthorn since 2006-07, however.
