The >Fremantle Dockers have a chance to climb into the top eight when they tackle the North Melbourne Kangaroos at Optus Stadium. Stay up to date with their AFL clash with live scores on The Roar from 8:15pm (AEST).

Adelaide may be the reigning wooden-spooners, but Fremantle’s win over the Crows away from home was arguably their most impressive so far this season. The Dockers have flown under the radar at 3-2, but the spirited victory away from home was in stark contrast to their two disasters in other away games and has them higher up the ladder than many predicted at this stage.

North Melbourne, in fairness, have been much more competitive over the last fortnight after their capitulation on Good Friday but, ultimately, they haven’t come close to claiming a win and still look to be several rungs below anyone else in the competition. A trip to Perth is hardly the tonic for the winless wooden spoon favourites.

The Dockers have won four of their last five games against the Kangaroos, including the last two by an average of 73 points. North Melbourne have lost six of their last seven matches in Perth, including three losses in four games against Freo.
